I've been tutoring professionally for around 30 years. Half the business caters to college students from all over the United States, and the other half caters to middle school and high school students mostly from Lincoln, Nebraska. I also mentor highly gifted students with Lincoln Public Schools (LPS). I cover a number of subjects, use Skype to do the online tutoring, and charge $28 per hour for the standard subjects. My available hours change depending on the time of the year. Referrals can lower your costs. Students make appointments on a first-come/first-serve basis. There is no set minimum number of visits, but there is minimum of one hour per visit. You can meet once in the whole semester, or every night if you want. I usually recommend students make appointments a couple of days ahead of time, but if I have an opening on that day, I would be happy to fit you in.
